Cf. also γρηνη ἄνθη συμμικτά H. Derivation from ἄγρα (DELG) is quite uncertain. (Nilsson Gesch. Gr. Religion 204 says that the net on the Omphalos was so called. This is ascribed to Hesychius and Pollux (4, 116), but neither author says so. It was only a guess (Pauly-Wissowa s.v.: "wohl auch".)
